Alec, recently awarded the stature of Paladin of the Bloodkin, was given his first solo mission. To travel to Silicon Valley and investigate the rumored appearance of the Eaters of the Dead. He accomplished his mission, unveiling the infestation at the Domain's core. Nebula, right hand to Tyrant Comet, was an Eater Hive Queen! Unfortunately, Alec's secret discovery was for naught, for the Eater Queen consumed him and rendered his flesh into a simulacrum of his previous being. Together, the Eaters made a bid for control of the Domain. Perhaps is was a remnant of Alec's Paladin soul, or perhaps they were just a smidgen too weak yet. Their hive was discovered and they were destroyed. The last of Alec, though a mask for an Eater's ravenous soul, dissolved into ash under the fiery touch of the Devil summoned to defeat them. So ended the unlife of the vampire Paladin Alec.
