Once Tyrant of Silicon Valley.
Tempered by her long reign as Tyrant of London, then Silicon Valley, Rose has learned the wisdom of the long-term stradegy. When signs and portents pointed to a resurgence of the Eaters of the Dead, she relinquished the Tyrantship, retreated to her den, and sent her least valued servants to scour the Domain for sign of their taint. While her most skilled children sought the outer realms for a solution to the scourge.
When the danger became plain, Rose tasked her child Villiers with summoning up a great Devil to do battle with the ancient enemy of vampire kind. But Villiers' own children, his apprentices Sophie and Mortimer, botched the summoning and the Devil claimed Villiers's body and soul. Her best plan for dealing with the menace of the Eaters laid to waste, Rose retreated and waited for the storm to pass.
In the meantime, Lord Marcello rose to the challenge, chained the Devil to his intended purpose, destroying the Eater menace, and claimed the Tyrantship for his own. Disgraced and pushed to the sidelines, Rose waits, plotting and planning, until the time is right to ascend again.
