BOOK II: INVENTIVE SPELLCASTING THE APOCRYPHA OF THE MAGE

II-D Combining Psyche Pools

Under normal circumstances, Psyche Pools cannot be combined or lent in bidding. The times when characters can combine their Psyche Pools are as follows: when in the Astral Plane, when in a ritual space, when in a Sacred Site and when they are bonded.

    II-D.1 Astral Plane
When in astral space(dreams), anyone can combine their psyche with anyone else willing, for any reason.

    II-D.2 Ritual Space
When specifically stated in the spell, the Psyche Pools of two or more spellcasters can be combined toward the Force and effect of that spell. This must be done during the spellcasting ritual. All the spellcasters must be of the same spell school.

    II-D.3 Sacred Site
Clergy (divine) spellcasters may combine their Psyche Pool with that of anyone else with the same true faith present at the sacred site during a bidding or casting.

    II-D.4 Bonding
Those who are bonded in a marriage rite performed by a clergy spellcaster may combine their Psyche Pools in bidding and casting when they are together.
A combining of Psyche Pools cannot be used to create a Force for a spell, talisman or magic item that is higher than the individual Spell Force Limits of the combined spellcasters.
