Werewolf of the Stormbringer Tribe, "The Tyrant's Hand"
In Character:
You are a werewolf, member of the Stormbringer Tribe. Your tribe's Elders made an unholy alliance with the vampires and now you are subject to their Tyrant's whims. Just because you spearheaded the attack and destruction of a nest of those vile vipers against the Elders' decision... Well, okay, you see that the Elders must enforce some sort of punishment on you for going behind their backs. As a pack leader you understand the need for discipline and following the chain of command. You also understand that your constant humiliation as the Tyrant's "lapdog" is your tribe's reparation for the attack. So, you feel duty bound to accept the punishment, but did it have to take such a distasteful form?! Your task is to be the Tyrant's bodyguard, the vamps call the position "The Tyrant's Hand", mostly because you're the one that does all the dirty work so that the Tyrant doesn't have to sully her own hands. Actually, aside from protecting the Tyrant and acting respectful and having to be in the same room with all those vampires without killing them, the rest of the job is okay. The executions are especially fun. The really big downer is the magical compulsion which assures that you cannot harm a vamp without the Tyrant's or Voice's permission (except when directly protecting the Tyrant's person). Your personal objective is to cause as much discomfort for the vamps around you as possible without disgracing your Tribe or going against your Elders' (or the Tyrant's) orders.
People You Know:
- Joseph - The "new" Tyrant's Voice and Ruth's great-grandchilder. (The last Voice "displeased" her and you got to execute him in a suitably horrific manner.)
- Malachi - Ruth's court mage (known as "The Tyrant's Compass") and currently her most favored childer.
- Deora - One of Ruth's more recent grandchilder.
- Shaozu - Vampire resident of Ruth's territory. The arms dealer who's supplying your pack with some really bitchen machine guns.
Out Of Character:
You are the material representation of the Tyrant's physical power. You are probably the most physically powerful creature in the room. It is your job to look threatening and intimidating at those people the Tyrant wants you to look threatening and intimidating at. You should usually stand behind the Tyrant's shoulder, a looming presence ready to implement the Tyrant's will. If the Tyrant is threatened you should advance and shield her - it's for show mostly, so be sure not to obscure her from the audience - and if she orders you to manhandle someone, do it.
Props:
You'll need some sort of weapon to make you look extra intimidating (and so that you can grip its hilt threateningly). Iron Keyring (for the Tyrant's dungeon) and Amulet (the compulsion talisman) will be provided.
