The Court of Ruth - Character Profile

Childe of Lady Ruth of the House of Ruth, "The Tyrant's Compass" or "Court Mage"

In Character:

You are a vampire, childer of Lady Ruth the current Tyrant. You are an adept mage and the Tyrant finds you a useful tool. You are currently in the Tyrant's good favor because you've developed a magical means of supplying her with one of her favorite delicacies. To supply the Tyrant's tastes you need a substantial supply of female vampire blood. (Not the Tyrant's!) You are currently bereft of sources for this essential ingredient and need to find one ASAP. The unfortunate facts are that you need either a small amount of potent blood or a very large (usually fatal for the donor) amount of weaker blood. You should be very concerned about not fulfilling Ruth's desiresŠ you vividly remember the fate of that last courtier who displeased her. Your other duties include maintaining your Lady's magical protections and the enchantment which keeps her werewolf bodyguard Blackfang [Tom]subdued and obedient.

People You Know:

  • Lady Ruth - The Tyrant, your sire.
  • Jospeh - The "new" Tyrant's Voice and one of Ruth's great-grandchilder. (The last Voice "displeased" her and was executed in a suitably horrific manner.)
  • Blackfang - "The Tyrant's Hand". Werewolf of the Stormbringer Tribe. You are maintaining the magical compulsion that assures that he has to serve and obey Ruth. He's working as her bodyguard and general thug.

  • Marcus - Vampire resident of Ruth's territory, childer of Lady Carmilla.
  • Shaozu - Vampire resident of Ruth's territory, childer and agent of Lord Lo Pan of House Jade Tiger.

Out Of Character:

Your purpose is to show by example how the Tyrant is to be treated. (Mainly with respect, awe, and fear!) You are also the scheming courtier scrambling to retain his place in his Mistress's favor. You'll need to confer with Kris over what the exact nature of the "delicacy" isŠ it should have something to do with her feeding habits.

Your Goal:

Find a suitable supply of female vampire blood for the "delicacy". Remain in Ruth's good graces.
