In Character:
You are a vampire, founder of your own House and current Tyrant of this domain. You are a strong and influential Lord, with a large and strictly controlled house. Born and brought over in the middle ages you style yourself after the feudal monarchs of that golden age. For several decades you have been vying with the other Lords of this domain for the seat of Tyrant, and now you have achieved it. Your only strong rival at this point is the Lady Carmilla. Your courtiers are Joseph [Phoenix], Malachi [David] and Blackfang [Tom]. Malachi is your currently favorite because he has managed to secure by magical means a constant supply of your favorite delicacy. Malachi also maintains the magical compulsion which forces Blackfang to obey you.
People You Know:
- Joseph - The "new" Tyrant's Voice and your great-grandchilder. (The last Voice "displeased" you and was executed in a suitably horrific manner.)
- Malachi - Your court mage (known as "The Tyrant's Compass") and currently your most favored childer.
- Blackfang - Werewolf of the Stormbringer Tribe. He led an attack on a pack of vampire anarchs in your territory and against the orders of his elders. His punishment (and his tribe's reparation to you) is his service to you as bodyguard and general thug (known as "The Tyrant's Hand").

- Marcus - Vampire resident of your territory, fairly young childer of Carmilla.
- Shaozu - Vampire resident of your territory, childer and agent of Lord Lo Pan of House Jade Tiger.
Local Politics:
You are Tyrant of South San Jose. You are a vassal of the Lord High Tyrant of Silicon Valley, the Lady Rose. Rose requires that you enforce her "Laws" in your personal domain and that you extend your protection to those under "the Ban". (To read the Laws and find out who is protected by the Ban go to The Dark web site - www.knowyourfate.com/loom/intothe/things/lawsofrose.html) You may come up with additional Laws which apply in your domain. This is your chance to announce them! You have established a tentative truce with the local Stormbringer Tribe of werewolves. You are required by Lady Rose to enforce her truce with the Rainchildren Tribe of werewolves in the Los Gatos hills. Carmilla is the local Lord that you are most wary of - she is unpredictable - often allowing her childer dangerous amounts of freedom. You have a business alliance with the powerful Jade Tiger House Lord Lo Pan. Lo Pan's House is concerned mainly with commerce and is headquartered in Hong Kong. One of Lo Pan's childer resides and works in your territory. (He is not officially a hostage.)
Out Of Character:
Your task is simpleŠ be the Tyrant. Show them what the words despotic monarch really mean and do so without provoking overt rebellion. Okay, so maybe not simple. The "delicacy" - Pick something really extravagant having to do with feeding and work out with Malachi's player what it is.
