Timeline
1453 - Born to Intrigue
Marcus was born in an inauspicious year, the year the Turks captured Constantinople, endangering the fortunes of many Venetian families. Marcus's family was bound in vassalage to House Benedetto.
1488 - The Chosen One (age 35)
Marcus was chosen as a promising candidate by Lord Benedetto and was embraced into the House. He was gifted with the name Lazzaro upon his turning. Lazzaro's relationship with his sire was not the best.
1527 - The Sack of Rome
Eventually Lazzaro managed to catch the eye of another prominent Lord and made it know that he would be open to being "recruited" into a new household. Through political maneuvering and dirty dealing, Lazzaro managed to gain release from House Benedetto and took on service in the House of Lord Maximillian.
1527 to 1832 - Courtier in Max's Court
Matthew settled in as a member of Max's household.
1832 - Visit to Rogan's Court
During a political visit to Rogan's court, Matthew met Sabine, B and Grace.
1905 to 1907 - The Tyrant Shuffle
Max's House moved to San Francisco at the turn of the century. Lady Sabine was Tyrant of the area at the time. Rogan's House moved to the area also, then made a takeover bid which succeeded.
1957 to 1961 - Ghoul Grooming
While posing as a professor at Berkeley University, Matthew received an order from his Lord to groom a ghoul spy for implantation into Sabine's Household. Matthew chose Gerald, a young protégé, blood bonded him to Max, then offered him to Sabine.
1978 - Anasazi Treasure Hunt
While investigating the fountain of youth, Matthew found an ancient Navajo man who attributed his long life to practices handed down from the Anasazi. Matthew investigated the ruins of the Anasazi dwellings and met the garou archeologist Trista Knifewing. He also met Tom I, who turned out to be the source of a disgusting fungal disease.
1960 to present - A New Scheme
Matthew has blood bound agents in the CDC and supports secret research into "improving" vampires.
