Timeline

1882 - Born & Raised in Edwardian England

Bradford's father was an archeologist, interested in the ancient ruins of foreign civilizations. When in Cathay he found a kindred spirit in a woman, a spirited elder daughter of a rich merchant house. They travelled together extensively until Bradford's birth when his father took a professorship at Oxford. Often during his childhood Bradford was left with nannies while his parents explored the globe. Always they would bring back facinating relics and stories. As soon as he was old enough to prove how useful he'd be on expedition (He'd pushed myself to memorize as much of their work as he could get his hands on and he'd managed to goad his tutors in to teaching him a dozen ancient languages.), they started taking him along.

1892 to 1902 - Wanderlust

The most facinating place Bradford had even visited with his parents was Egypt. After his formal schooling at Oxford was complete he returned there to pursue his passion, Egyptology.

1902 to 1922 - Egyptology is Life

Bradford spent many years consumed with study of Egypt and it's monuments.

1922 - Death and Unlife

Bradford was killed during the King Tut expedition. His pride and lust for knowledge led to his eternal damnation. He did not pass on to paradise, but remained on earth, eternally damned! After his downfall Bradford traveled the world, seeing it with the eyes of the dead. Seeing in it the dead who walk as if they were men still. Bradford founded the Brotherhood of the Dead, with his Sire as his first convert.

1934 - Nazi Occult Treasure Hunt

The Nazis pursued the ancient relics of the Pharaohs. Bradford, posing as the Japanese archeologist Kazuo Tomi, assisted the Nazi Konrad in finding the Eye of Horus relic.

1978 - Anasazi Treasure Hunt

Bradford, in the guise of an archeologist named Tom I, investigated the fountain of youth and found himself led to the ruins of the Anasazi. He met Matthew Heinrich, a fellow scholar, and Trista Knifewing, an archeologist investigating the Anasazi dig site. Tom learned that the Anasazi experienced some kind of transformation in which they ascended to a higher state of being.

2001 - Virgin Territory

Bradford entered the Bay Area, a territory rich in undead, but severely lacking in agents of the Brotherhood.

Contributions to Main Storyline

  • Prophet -- proports that the "Daywalker" relic will preserve vampire kind in the face of the apocalypse.
  • Doomsayer -- member of "Order of the Dead". Believes all vampires are evil parasites.

Special/Pre-Existing Relationships

  • Trista : She has read papers published by me in archeology journals especially the ones about Daywalker Relics.
  • The Egyptian : Our paths have crossed about 6 times over the last 40 years where we are researching the same topics. We know there is something strange about each other (since we don't age), but we are too polite to pry.

Short Term Goals

  • Harass everyone and try to get at least one person to signup for the Brotherhood.
  • Find out who has the Daywalker amulet.
  • Bring about the fruition of the Daywalker Prophecy and the performance of the Daywalker rite, in a manner that causes the destruction of all vampires.
  • Make sure every vampire you meet is informed about their true nature.

Long Term Goals

  • Destroy Vampirism. It is an evil that should be wiped out.
  • Convince all vampires that you meet to "go back to the graveyard".

Deep Dark Damaging Secrets

  • Daywalker Relics should actually wipe out all the Vampires, purifying them all. I have put the right spin for my purposes the translations for the last couple of decades and written journal articles making the Daywalker Relic seem like it would make Vampires Daywalkers. But I really believe that the ritual will destroy them all and my hope is some enterprising Vampire will actually try the Ritual. I used to have in my posession an ancient tablet with key translations like the Rosetta Stone which will show that I have deliberately mis-interpreted them to propagate my version of what will happen with the Daywalker Relic. At some time in the past, I had to flee one of my safe havens and had lost this Rosetta Stone. I believe the only person with enough skill to interpret the Rosetta Stone is The Egyptian. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to have it in his posession.

Spells

  • Egyptian Spells (has them but can't cast them).

Quirks

  • Always carries breath mints (cinniamon tick tacs).
