For The Mages
Under the camouflage of yet another amusing human gala (staged and attended by the portion of our population which gave rise to the term "local color"), we'll have exciting symposia & magical demonstrations presented by talented mages spanning a wide range of disciplines. Some scheduled events include:
"...I got better"
Sir Mallory, famous forensic mage & Justicar of House Rose, talks about how he became a newt to save the world, and the anti-apocalypse spell that made it happen; followed by in-depth discussion of other known world-saving & world-ending spells and rituals (no demonstrations, please).
"Come thee hence, foul spawn of Hell..."
Renowned demonologist Dungarvan, of the Order of the Crimson Blade, will demonstrate his skill & precision in this delicate art by summoning an imp or lesser demon ...unless, of course, he feels capable of summoning something higher up the food chain. Assuming no one ends up possessed or horribly maimed, an open discussion of relevant techniques, common pitfalls, and humorous anecdotes will immediately follow the demonstration.
