You were born, just not quite right in the head. The signs were hidden at first, but slowly others started to notice how different you really were. Then came the fear. Your parents took you to dozens of doctors, you were put through hundreds of tests. Brain scans, spinal fluids, hormones and Rorchach tests. You're not stupid, you knew that if they ever found out what's really wrong with you they'd lock you in a little box to save themselves from the horror of the truth. So you used that fear to keep them guessing, to make them think you were harmless, although you could see in their eyes that their instincts knew the truth. You are a monster.
Your First Benefactor: Dr. Vincent Barlowe
Only one man ever understood you. When your parents despaired of ever finding a doctor who could reach you, Dr. Vincent found you. In his blood was medicine more effective than any human science had to offer. His blood and his company offered you a release from the constant pressure to hide and restrain your true nature. He was a predator like yourself, but he somehow could feel more than you could, he could think like the prey without being one of them. You respected and loved Dr. Vincent and you stayed with him for many years.
Your Defeated Rival: Adam/Tweet
Adam was Dr. Vincent's flunky. A weak and pitiful excuse for a man. It hurt you to see the Doctor accompanied by one such as that. And, actually, he was not too difficult to dispatch. A bit of planted evidence, a few mild comments, and Adam was cast out of Dr. Vincent's house. No fuss, no muss.

Your love for your first benefactor did not blind you to his faults. He was not a man of intrigue and eventually he was destroyed because of it. You were forced to seek entrance into another's household. By now you fully understood the ways of vampire society and sought out a powerful Lord to be your next mentor. One thing you did not plan on was, when you found him, that he would take your life. When you joined Lord Arturo's service a few weeks ago you thought you were to remain human, merely a blood slave, but you were wrong. Once into the powerful Lord's clutches he divined your true potential and bound you to him forever with the full gift of his blood.
Plot Point: Adjustment Disorder
You used to see yourself as a monster, both less and more than human. But now, the creature you have become is more alien than your intellect can grasp. The undecipherable, molten impulses that churn inside you are much more painful than you had ever thought possible to experience.
Personality Note: Sociopath
You are extremely intelligent but entirely lack the power of empathy. You are detached from anything that doesn't come from inside you, and since you are unable to truly feel for others, you often feel nothing at all. Your inability to understand the nature of emotions prevents you from recognizing or understanding your mental defect. Turning into a vampire has given you a chaotic swarm of passions, desires, rages, and other feelings that your psyche is unequipped to deal with.
