Works that Inspired the Pandemonium Universe

The Pandemonium Universe was created by the gamemaster Argante and play-tested by the Two Fates & A Puck roleplayers. It is my creation, my childer, the pinnacle of all my creative aspirations! Created by ME! Yah, HA HA HA! MINE! MINE!

Ehem. Oops, my meglomania's showing again, isn't it?

Please excuse my outburst and allow me to give credit to the other creative geniuses who've contributed to the development of the Pandemonium Universe. Anne Rice and White Wolf take a bow, because the initial ideas that lead to the creation of the Pandemonium Universe were inspired by characterizations and themes in the Vampire Chronicles and World of Darkness universe. Before being exposed to these enlightened creations, I saw vampires as limited character opportunities. Reading The Vampire Lestat and the Nature/Demeanor descriptions in Vampire: The Masquerade revealled to me the depth of development possible in vampiric storylines.

Let me also acknowledge the Two Fates & A Puck performers, an infinite source of inspiration and new ideas. The Pandemonium Universe would be much poorer if it were not for all their wacky and convoluted character ideas that I had to find a way of incorporating seamlessly into universe's history and storylines.

And let us not forget the tremendously incestuous nature of the arts! Here's a list of movies, stories, and songs which have also added to the richness of the Pandemonium universe:

  • Dangerous Liasons
  • The Pessimist's Guide to History
  • Highlander: The Movie
  • The Madness Season, by C.S. Friedman
  • The Crow
  • The Last Temptation of Christ
